Better than the GB Edition xD

Definetly better than the GarageBand Edition.
Still, the bass could have some less bass boost. (although its a bass)
And it could have been a bit louder around 2:00

Apart from that, this is a perfect song!

Afterfall responds:

hahah at the GB edition. But... bass boost? And do you mean the climax at the end should be louder or that quiet part in the middle?

I wouldn't call it perfect, the same three chords for 3 minutes can get a bit boring... I really have to start putting more variation in my music.

Yes yes!

NICE!!!
I especially liked the "synth riff" after 1:42 (you MUST see that on spectrum visualizer!)
The one thing that could be different was the drums coming up slightly to sudden the first time. Maybe try a fast fade-in at that point :]

Also, you could might try using other/lower synths from 1:07

-Havegum :D

Afterfall responds:

Thanks! Yeah i should have done a compressed fade in for the drums. And now, listening to it again... that synth in that short middle section is really hard on the ears!

Video-gameicious

Im gonna give you 10/10 on this one!
this is the ultimate video game song!

I see that now it has two downloads, I only hope that one of them is going to use the song to create a game, cuz this song really deserves it!

I feel so inspired when hearing this song! I wish i had mah keyboard rigth now...
What program do you use?

-Havegum :D

Afterfall responds:

Wow... thanks so much! High praise much? In answer to your question, I use Reason 4. I've tried quite allot of music programs... and so far Reason is by far the best. It's incredibly easy to use and you can do soo much with it. I tried it out after I heard ParagonX9 uses it.

Good

Song is perfect but lacks a bit variation as the same tune plays over and over again.
A bit lower intensity and this would be the perfect video game loop!

Hehe

Wow!
This shows that you have full control over your song! The song itself was as good as perfect!
The only thing that COULD have been changed is the bass. Add some more variation and/or completely new "parts" in your song, like a bridge verse or refrain.

Also, the loop could have been smoother (the last melody had echo in it).

This is a perfect video game loop!

(Any criticism in this review is ment onstructive, and i am not saying i could have done it better!)

-Havegum

Afterfall responds:

Wow... my first real review with consctructive criticism. Thanks! Yeah I probably should have switched the bass up a bit. And yeah I realized that echo after I uploaded it. "Loops really well." *COUGH COUGH* Thanks so much for reviewing!

VARIATION!

Please use WAY more variation next time! Think of a song that you like... it is probably divided into verses and refrains. Try creating the same thing in your own music!

-Havegum

rtnario responds:

*sigh* Well, at least you left something for me to reply to.

It is a remix of a song already made. It uses the exact same structure as that original song with many modified melodies, changed instruments and new additions. The verses and refrains were all in there.

I respect your opinion, but the same goes for mine and that is I think this song is getting criminally underrated and zero-bombed by people with huge musical genre and preference gaps. Huge.

In other words, I personally think it's not a matter of error in melody, progression and structure, but a matter of people's own musical preferences.

Variation! Variation! Variation!

Variation!
The theme is getting to boring after a while.

TIP: Try making something TOTALLY diffferent - in the middle of the song!
** Sorry but i am too tired to write more :'[ **

Danish-Person responds:

i made the song in 35 bpm and i didnt realize that it was 3 minutes long lol
ill try making more variations in my next serious attempt :)

Hmm.. what to write?

My first-impression of this song was nice - a cold tuned theme that carried on.
It had a bit little variation.

"2nd part" had a theme going all the time, it was a bit sharp tuned (at least after listening to it for about 2 min.) , soften it a tiny bit, and give more variation to it.

(Lol, i just found out that i always tell people to give their songs more variation)

ZOMG! AWESOME!

A perfect example of an unnoticed NG-AudioPortal MASTER!!

So i noticed how long since the other guy commented, and views and votes:
1 Hour - 4 Votes - 17 Listens - 1 Download

And then i saw another AudioSubmittion, It MUST have been a "famous" Audio artist, cuz he had 58 views.

(**SORRY FOR BEING OFF-TOPIC**)

Okay i have heard pro's songs (Pros that have been at school for like 4 years) and still i think this is WAY better than anything those pros have made.

The song has:
-GREAT voice
-Lovley variation
-Great guitarsolo
-Almost perfect mix

The only thing that could ever be changed was the chord-playing guitar to lower its volume during the guitarsolo.

D3MON-Sl4YER responds:

Thanks, Really means a lot. I ask myself sometimes too, don't worry. It's all about timing and scoring, once I get a high enough level my stuff will be on the front page and high enough. I'll look at your stuff and help you out.

Oh YEAH!!

Altho- i felt some notes were off, it was good as hell.
The sound effect used on the main melody was to extriggerated if you ask me, maby lower their volume or put away the sharpness cuz after hearing a while, it really aound a bit sharp.

BUT they didn't ruin the song - luckily xD-
5/5
9/10
